- Tatooine was a harsh desert world orbiting twin suns in the galaxy’s Outer Rim Territories, indigenous to the nomadic, primitive Tusken Raiders.
History[]
Long ago, the Tusken Raider were the original inhabitants of the planet, which was mostly ocean. But when the waters dried out, many people settled from other planets.
Jabba of the Hutt Clan ruled over large parts of the planet for a long while, but was killed in 4 ABY. Eventually he was succeeded by his servant Bib Fortuna.
At some point, Mos Eisley had an Imperial presence but the Empire had abandoned the city some time prior to Boba Fett's visit, and their rusting Stormtrooper helmets were put on spears.
Geography[]
- Mos Espa: An important trading center, and one of the planet's largest cities.
- Mos Eisley: A small city south of Mos Espa.
- Mos Pelgo: a far-away town which was wiped off the maps by bandits. But it still houses a few humans.
