Development[]
On December 10, 2020, a live-action series titled Rangers of the New Republic executive produced by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni was announced.
On November 27, 2021, Kathleen Kennedy revealed that the spin-off, which was due to center on Gina Carano's Cara Dune, was likely to be absorbed into future iterations of The Mandalorian. No scripts were written.
