Morgan Elsbeth was a Force-sensitive female Zabrak Nightsister who was instrumental in the construction of the Imperial Starfleet, and after the fall of the Galactic Empire, served as magistrate of Calodan on the planet Corvus, imposing a tyrannical regime aligned with Grand Admiral Mitth'raw'nuruodo.

In 20 BBY, during the Clone Wars, Morgan Elsbeth's people, the Nightsisters of Dathomir, were massacred by the Separatists. Left as one of the only survivors, the genocide embittered her, eventually pushing her to assist in strengthening the Imperial Starfleet by plundering entire worlds of their natural resources. At some point in her life, she also acquired a pure beskar staff, which she gained hand-to-hand combat proficiency in.[1]
