Cobb Vanth was a human male whom lived in Mos Pelgo.

Right after the fall of the Galactic Empire in 4 ABY, the Mining Collective took over his hometown, and he ran into the desert where he was picked up by Jawas. After some haggling with the jawas, he bought Boba Fett's armor, returned to Mos Pelgo, wiped out the bandits, and was anointed as the town marshall.

In 9 ABY Din Djarin helped him establish peace with a tribe of Tusken Raider by cooperating against a common enemy, a Krayt dragon. Cobb then gave the armor to Din.

When a conflict with the Pyke Syndicate started heating up on Tatooine, Cobb's main concern was to keep his town out of the troubles. When he encountered a band of Pykes he refused to let them stay, and told them no Pykes are allowed on his jurisdiction. When Din Djarin returned, asking for help dealing with the syndicate, Cobb avoided but eventually agreed. Before Cobb could gather a town meeting, however, Cad Bane showed up under the hire of the Pykes, and tried to bribe him to stay out of the conflict. When bribery failed, Cad shot Cobb and then left.
